| Welcome to the homepage
of the Family Health Service (FHS) of the Department of Health.
The Family Health Service provides a comprehensive range of health promotion
and disease prevention services for children from birth to 5 years and
women at or below 64 years of age. These services are provided by a dedicated
team of medical & nursing professionals and supporting staff, through
a network of 31 Maternal and Child Health Centres (MCHCs) and 3 Woman
Health Centres (WHCs).
Over the years, the roles and functions of FHS have evolved to meet the
changing health needs of our target population - children and women. In
this web-site, you will find the most up-to-date information about our
child and woman health programmes and the service time-table of individual
centres. You will also be able to find useful health information on various
child and woman health issues.
This web-site serves as a communication bridge between you and our Service.
Do let us know your comments and suggestions so that we can serve you
even better.
