Fees and Charges for Maternal & Child Health and Woman Health Services

According to the Extraordinary Notice No. 13 in Gazette in year 2003, a list of charges payable at Government polyclinics, clinics and other institutions with effect from 1 April 2003 is given below.

1. Patients falling into the following categories are eligible for the rates of charges applicable to Eligible Persons:
(i) a holder of Hong Kong Identity Card issued under the Registration of Persons Ordinance;
(ii) children who are Hong Kong residents and under 11 years of age;
(iii) other persons approved by the Director of Health.
2.

For other patients, the rates of charges applicable to Non-eligible Persons will apply. The Director of Health will determine the eligibility of patients to whom the rates of charges will apply.

3.

The Director of Health has powers to require a deposit of part or the whole of the fees likely to be incurred by any patient.

4.

Unless otherwise specified or agreed by the Director of Health, all charges specified in this notice are payable in advance or on demand by the Director of Health.

Charges for Maternal & Child Health Services and Woman Health Service are listed as follows: -

Annual fee for each person enrolled for health screening (excluding mammography) and health promotion services $310 $850
Each mammography $225 $510

For child health, family planning, cervical screening and woman health services, GF 181 / Try 447 / HA 181 is not accepted.
