Can children with a mild sickness or a runny nose receive vaccinations?

In general, if the child has the above symptoms, but has no fever and appears normal in eating, playing and sleeping with normal bowel openings, he is fit for immunisation. If parents are worried, vaccination may be postponed for a few days in order to have enough time to observe the child's condition. If the child has fever, parents can bring the child to visit General Out-patient Clinic or private practitioner first and let the child have immunisation when he/she recovers.
